Alexandre Mansour

Founder & CEO

Alexandre Mansour is the Founder & CEO of Nomad Capital, a real estate investment and development company with offices in Lisbon, Porto and the Algarve. With extensive experience in portfolio and investment management, business strategy, trading, financial modeling, and real estate, Alexandre has established himself as a versatile professional in the industry. Before founding Nomad Capital, Alexandre was a Managing Partner at Optylon Group, a €350M real estate developer and manager, where he led several successful projects in Portugal, including mixed-use developments in Porto and Lisbon, as well as residential projects and short-term stay management services across multiple locations. Prior to his tenure at Optylon, he served as an Investment Manager at AXA US and as Managing Partner at French Desk Capital Management in New York City. His career also includes experience as a buy-side Analyst focused on Emerging Markets Equities at Global Emerging Markets Group in New York. Alexandre holds an MBA in International Business from Baruch College, New York, and a Master’s degree in Management & Entrepreneurship from the Superior Institute of Management, Paris. He also completed exchange programs in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing. Fluent in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Alexandre brings a global perspective and a wealth of expertise to the real estate and investment sectors.

Carlos Teixeira

Senior Partner

As a Senior Partner at Nomad Capital, Carlos brings extensive expertise and strategic insight in the realm of real estate investment and development. Previously, he served as a Consultant at the Optylon Group, a renowned real estate developer in Portugal. Carlos also held the role of Partner and Board Member at Isegoria Capital, a regulated €350M AUM distressed assets auction house, and as Member of the Steering Committee of Recactiv, a €400M AUM NPL recovery platform. Was involved in the acquisition, to the regulator Banco de Portugal, and several commercial banks, of the first Portuguese bank of distressed assets. With a proven track record in the industry, Carlos is recognized for his contributions to the real estate sector and his adept handling and structuring of complex investment transactions. With a Diploma in International Business Administration from the American College of Switzerland, Carlos originates from a family industrial background being involved in the restructuring and management of several textile industrial and commercial companies in Portugal, where he held several positions, including financial, commercial, and marketing director, and board member. Carlos also created its own international brand, with over 200 points of sale, which he sold, being still active.

Eric Nemeth

Chairman

Eric integrates the Advisory Board of Nomad Capital, bringing senior expertise in investing, M&A, restructuring, and portfolio management, having invested in several real estate developments in Portugal. Eric currently also serves as an Investment Committee Member at STEED Capital, as a Member of the Supervisory Board at CROSSJECT, and as a Member of the Board at SOFIVAL. With a Business Diploma from HEC Paris, Eric started his career at Saint-Gobain, where he held various financial and controlling positions, including head of Groupe Corporate finance, and head Controller of the Flat Glass division. He was then Co-Head of M&A for the French subsidiary of SBS, now UBS; CEO of an Independent Stock Research Company, Detroyat Associés; Member of the Executive Committee at Deutsche Bank France; and launched and managed a Private Equity fund in France, MenInvest 1.

Patrick Duro

Chief Financial Officer

As the CFO and Controller at Nomad Capital, he brings a wealth of experience in real estate investment and development. Previously, he served as Controller and CFO at Tabnit SA. of Optylon Group and worked as an Auditor at Armando Magalhães, Carlos Silva & Associados - Sociedade de Revisores Oficiais de Contas. Patrick holds a Degree in Accounting and a Post-Graduation in Auditing, providing a solid foundation for his financial leadership role at Nomad Capital.

Nicole Martins

Chief Commercial Officer and Head Marketing

As the Head of Sales at Nomad Capital, Nicole brings a diverse background to her role, having served as Operations Associate and Sales Consultant at Optylon Group and as Communications and Marketing partner at JMP Information Systems. With a Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology and Human Resources, Nicole combines her sales expertise with a deep understanding of human behavior. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, she leads with determination and a commitment to growth as Vice President of Sales.

João Oliveira

Head of Development

João boasts over 20 years of experience in investment companies, specializing in development projects. With a Diploma in Business Administration from Católica University, and a diverse background, he has served as a Country Manager, Procurement Director, and Investment Partner for various international corporations, Mota-Engil and AINA Capital Fund.
